Chetna
Foolwati is a cheerful 33-year-old woman who resides in Achrol village, Rajasthan. Her fondness for blue color is due to its resemblance to the vast sky that signifies freedom. Foolwati has three children, two daughters, and a son. She has been weaving with Jaipur Rugs for a decade and has joyfully created nine Manchaha. This particular Manchaha draws inspiration from the Baseda festival, during which people consume staple food. The colors used in this Manchaha are reminiscent of the freshly prepared chapatis and salty Shakarparas served on the festival day. Additionally, Chetna, Foolwati's younger daughter, requested a sweet Shakarpara design on her Manchaha, which was happily woven by Foolwati.
